As well as gaining knowledge of the physical, intellectual, social and emotional development of children, students are instructed in the practical skills of childcare within a safe and healthy environment, and tuition on how to introduce children to opportunities and experiences to encourage their potential through play, creativity and educational activities.

The training centre is located in a residential area that offers pleasant surroundings both indoors and out. There is a welcoming and homely feel to it. The staff are all very friendly and go the extra mile in encouraging and assisting students to achieve their goals.
