Domestic Students

ENTRY CRITERIA:

Age – 17 years or older
A clear Police check
Ability to speak, read and write English well
Referees / references - at least 2, preferably 3 which must be able to be verified
For Level 3 programme - preferably 4 years of secondary schooling but not essential
For Level 5 programme – a minimum 4 years secondary schooling with NCEA English Level 2 and Maths Level 1 (or equivalent prior learning)
There is a pre entry test for this programme at the time of interview
A love for children and a desires to work with them
Possess personal qualities such as patience, kindness and empathy
Reasonable levels of physical fitness to meet the requirements of a physically demanding role
